How to Access Orbi Router Settings from Any Device

Orbi Mesh System has three networking devices as part of its content package. These are a mesh router, and two satellites. Three devices form one WiFi network in a home. The user can set it up easily via a computer or phone.

Method1 – Via Orbi Web Interface

Orbi’s Web-based user interface can be accessed by a computer that is connected to the Orbi network. Connecting the Orbi network to the computer via Ethernet cable (or SSID credentials) is the first step in accessing the Orbi web interface.

Step1 – Connect computer with Orbi

You can connect your computer to the Orbi router via Ethernet cable, or SSID credentials.

Ethernet cable:

Connect the Ethernet port of your computer with a pair Ethernet cables.
Connect the other end of the cable to the Orbi device’s LAN port (either the router or satellite).
You can then log in to the Orbi interface and access the network.

WiFi via SSID details:

Open the WiFi list and turn on Wi-Fi in your computer.
Enter the Orbi WiFi password to connect.
You can log in to orbilogin.net on your computer after the connection.

Step2 – Access to Orbilogin.net

Enter the login URL orbilogin.net, or IP address 192.168.1.1. You will be redirected to the interface login page. Click LOGIN and enter the admin username/password.

Step3: Change Various Settings

Orbi’s interface dashboard allows you to change your WiFi password, admin password and adjust the frequency channels.

Method2 – Via Orbi App on Phone

Orbi App is a fast and simple way to control the Orbi settings from your phone. You will need to either download the app, or update it if you already have it on your phone.

Download the Orbi App from the App Store or Play Store. If you already have it installed, check for an update in the Store.

Step2: Access to Orbi App

You can now access the app through your My NETGEAR account. Create an Orbi Account if you do not have one. Tap the Sign Up button, enter your name, email ID and password. You will receive an email at the address you entered to confirm your account. Tap on Confirm to confirm the account.

Step 3: Modify the settings

Enter the password and username you created and click LOGIN. You can adjust Orbi firmware and any feature in the app.
